Checking in: The J Plus hotel by Yoo
It's a funny feeling returning to a place you used to live, totally different yet familiar at the same time. One perk of visiting Hong Kong these days is the opportunity to actually stay in some of the cities coolest hotels.
Last month, I had the pleasure of staying at a chic little hotel hidden in the heart of Causeway Bay, the J Plus hotel by Yoo. Originally designed by famed interior expert Phillipe Starck, everything about the hotel oozes creativity, from the chain link curtains to the graffiti wall art.
Each room has a completely unique aesthetic. I stayed in the Suite Plus, it was done in white with hot pink and orange accents, totally my style aka #extra AF.
I mean, how amazing is that rug??
The Suite was massive, literally as big as my apartment in SF. It had a separate living room, dining area, full service kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and a closet to die for. I was ready to move in for good.
In addition to the amazing facilities, the hotel offered a ton of cool perks like free Wifi, and a data enabled cell phone that you can take with you as you explore the city (great for avoiding massive roaming charges). The staff was super friendly and quick to help. The hotel was shockingly quiet considering its proximity to the ever bustling Times Square. I loved staying at J Yoo for its convenience and fun atmosphere (so many Instagram opps!) and highly recommend checking it our for your next visit to Hong Kong.
Thank you to the Yoo Hotel group for having me! <3
